Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join product squads building SaaS platforms for Series A/B startups. You will own features end-to-end — from database schema to polished UI — and have a real say in architectural decisions. If you care deeply about code quality, enjoy explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders, and want to work across interesting problem domains (PropTech, HealthTech, FinTech) rather than the same product forever, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities
- Build full-stack features in Next.js 14 (App Router) + TypeScript + NestJS or tRPC
- Design PostgreSQL schemas, Redis caching strategies, and real-time features with WebSockets
- Write Playwright E2E tests and maintain CI quality gates
- Collaborate with UX designers to implement pixel-perfect, accessible UI
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical design docs
- Assist in scoping, estimating, and planning features with clients
Requirements
- 4+ years with React and Node.js in production
- Deep Next.js knowledge — App Router, RSC, streaming, caching strategies
- TypeScript (strict mode) — you treat type errors as bugs
- PostgreSQL: query optimisation, indexing, RLS
- Experience with a background job library (BullMQ, Inngest, or similar)
- Git hygiene: small commits, meaningful messages, PR-based workflow
